TRUMAN WATERFRONT PARK GROUND BREAKING IN KEY WEST

B&A was recently awarded the design contract for the $4 million Truman Waterfront Amphitheater (the biggest waterfront park now underway in South Florida) and a construction administration contract for construction of phase one of the Truman Waterfront Park in Key West. The park master plan incorporates a redesigned 50-foot-wide waterfront pedestrian promenade, a pedestrian bridge to span Admiral’s Cut, an open air 300 fixed seat amphitheater, an historic Navy Generator Building to be reused as a restaurant and historical museum, public restrooms, an interactive water feature with two adjacent shaded playgrounds, an exercise trail with exercise stations, a 35,000-SF recreation center and adjacent synthetic turf multi-purpose athletic and event field, and new horse stables for the Key West Police Department.
