Port industry decision-makers and professionals will meet at Seatrade Europe 2019, the leading trade event of the European cruise and river cruise industry, to exchange ideas, set new trends and expand their business networks.

Mark Ittel, BA Senior VP of Ports and Maritime, is a featured speaker for the workshop session titled “Exploring the Terminal of the Future” taking place Thursday, September 12. Mark will be joined by senior cruise line executives to discuss the future of cruise terminals, forward-thinking terminal projects, and state-of-the-art terminal operations’ updates.

As the worldwide leader in cruise and destination development, BA can provide expertise on designing innovative, inspirational cruise terminals to take us into the future. Currently under construction, BA’s design for PortMiami Terminal B will feature three giant arcing see-through domes, affectionately referred to as a “pearl” on the Miami horizon, redefining the landscape of the city’s skyline.

Terminal B will accommodate ships of up to 5,000 passengers and will feature state-of-the-art technology to support faster and more efficient embarkation and disembarkation processes, as well as expedited security screening and luggage check-in.
