The new Deering Hospital Women's Center provides 10 birthing suites, 13 post-partum rooms, two operating rooms, a recovery area, sterile workrooms, two nurse stations, a doctors' lounge, conference and staff training room, family waiting area and a 13-bed nursery. The Center expects 1,500 to 2,000 births annually and will serve patients in South Dade County and the upper Keys. Deering is a Columbia/HCA Healthcare hospital.
